U-turn by BJP, PDP on their ideologies has exposed them: Cong

BJP and PDP's U-turn on their respective ideologies has exposed both the parties before the electorates of the Jammu and Kashmir, Congress today said.
"BJP-PDP are fundamentally oppose to each other on all core issues and their opportunistic alliance is a betrayal to their respective electorates whom they exploited on the basis of their own ideology and commitments to various contentious issues in the state," Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Committee (JKPC) president Ghulam Ahmed Mir said.
Both the parties maintain their public posturing on various core issues which has created an atmosphere of confusion and mistrust in the minds of people, Mir said while addressing a convention of District Congress Committee Reasi.

"Congress is re-emerging as a strong force in all parts of the state, as the people have realised that both the parties (BJP-PDP) exploited them on the basis of region, religion and other sentiments...", he said.
They have no commitment to their ideologies and stand exposed before the people of all three regions of the state, he added.
Mir lashed out at BJP for its "U-turn on all important commitments made during elections" and said falsehood of Modi Government was exposed during short period of one year.
It has failed in all fronts and working for the benefit of rich and corporate sector only, he alleged.

JKPCC Chief said that secularism is a strength of our nation and the state and Congress is the only party which represent each and every sections of this pluralistic society.
