Ujaas Energy bags Rs 65 crore order

Ujaas Energy today said it has an bagged order worth Rs 65.8 crore for Teesta Canal Fall hydroelectric power plant in West Bengal.
"The company has received an Letter of Intent for design and engineering, manufacturing/procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning...For 10MW of solar PV Power Project from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd at Teesta Canal Fall Hydroelectric Power Plant, Stage-II at Haptiagachh, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal," the comapny said in a regulatory filing.

ISB alumnus Don Mohanlal named in influential leaders list * Don Mohanlal, an alumnus of ISB,
has been named in the influential leaders prepared by premier accrediting body AACSB International.
In a statement, the Indian School of Business (ISB) said that Mohanlal has been recognised as "one of the first 100 AACSB influential leaders".
Currently, he is Executive Director (Innovation and Impact) at the National 4-H Council, USA. He is also Vice Chairman at the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation, a philanthropic entity of the Khemka Family.
From April to June 2015, AACSB-accredited schools nominated notable alumni who have made (or are making) an impact in the world.

Shoppers Stop partners FreeCharge for mWallet * Digital payments platform FreeCharge today said it has partnered Shoppers Stop to allow customers to use the former's mobile wallet services.
Customers will have the option to use their FreeCharge wallet to make payments at all 74 Shoppers Stop stores across the country as well as on the webstore www.Shoppersstop.Com.
The partnership will also extend to the Shoppers Stop group companies like 17 outlets of HyperCity, 95 stores of Crossword and 19 stores of HomeStop across India, it said.

WNS launches training programme for college students * BPO major WNS today launched a training programme for college students, based on the NASSCOM Qualification Packs (QP), to improve employability and make them industry-ready.
Focussed on tier II and III cities, the programme aims to train 1,000 students in next six months across 35 colleges in Nasik, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Pune, Kaziranga, Chandigarh and Vishakhapatnam, WNS said in a statement.
WNS will also impart training in English, Excel and soft skills to students.
