British Prime Minister Theresa May will shortly make a statement on the Brexit negotiations, her office said Friday.
The televised statement in Downing Street, due at 12.45 GMT, comes the day after European Union leaders rejected key elements of her Brexit plan during a summit in Salzburg.
They gave her until a summit in October to come up with new proposals on the future economic relationship -- even though she insists her plan is the only way -- and the issue of the Irish border.
