UK police tracing absconding Indian-origin man, son

Scotland Yard has launched a public appeal to help trace an Indian-origin man and his son wanted for an 80 million pounds money laundering trial in London.
Bhadresh Shah, 49, and his son Abhishek, 25, from Wembley, north-west London, attended the first week of the trial at Southwark Crown Court in London but absconded while on bail on April 21.
"A warrant has been issued for their arrest. The pair were found guilty and sentenced in their absence on Thursday, May 25," Metropolitan Police said in a statement this week.
Bhadresh was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment for one count of conspiracy to transfer criminal property and possession of Class B drugs (mephedrone and ketamine) with intent to supply.

Abhishek was sentenced to nine years' imprisonment for one count conspiracy to transfer criminal property.
In the police report, the father-son duo are referred to as having links to Wembley and India implying they may have fled to India.

Bhadresh is described as Asian, about 5ft 10ins, of heavy build, with dark hair, brown eyes, glasses and a thin moustache.
Abhishek is described as Asian, about 6ft, of large build, with dark hair, brown eyes and glasses.
They were on trial alongside three co-defendants, also of Indian-origin.
Bhadresh's wife Falguni, 46, was sentenced to four years' imprisonment for conspiracy to transfer criminal property.

Dipakumar Doshi, 57, and Dinesh Thakoraka-Parmar, 35, were sentenced to five years' imprisonment each for one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to transfer criminal property.
