Four labourers were today feared killed when an under-construction bridge collapsed and fell into a river in a village in Bihar's Darbhanga district, an official said.
The bridge being laid on the river Kareh in Akraha village collapsed and fell in the river after a beam between two pillars became loose, Sub-Divisional Officer Kari Ram said.
Three labourers from Akraha village and one from Motihari also fell into the river along with the debris and were feared killed, he said.
The bridge was being constructed by CPWD, the SDO said.
