The policemen were taking the undertrial in a police vehicle to the court for his presence in a case when the mishap took place, a police officer said.
The vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge at Karara belt, resulting in injuries to the six passengers, he said, adding they have been hospitalised.
