The incident took place last night. Dariya Gurjar complained of stomach pain following which he was admitted in the hospital's jail ward on September 25, Deputy Superintendent (Jail) B S Morya said.
Gurjar fooled the police guard on duty on the pretext of going to toilet and escaped from the hospital, said the official.
Gurjar is a resident of Dholpur, Rajasthan and is accused of loot and dacoity. He was in the jail for quite some time.
A case was registered in this regard in Morena Kotwali Police Station and search is on to nab him soon, he added.
