Union min highlights role of Hindi literature in colonial era
Press Trust of India Jaipur Union Minister of State for HRD Ram Shankar Katheria today highlighted the importance and role of Hindi literature in pre-independence era.
"Hindi is not only alanguage but it has other values. It teaches us the way to live life ideally," the minister said at a programme organised at the Hindi Department of the University of Rajasthan here.
In present time, scientists invent and produce machines but litterateurs makes a man in the society, he said at a seminar on the challenges before Hindi.
Vice-chancellor of the university, J P Singhal said, Hindi language plays an important role in creating a person's character and social values.
Hindi language experts and scholars were also present in the conference.
