Universities can aid research on local issues: JK Guv

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today said Universities can play a vital role in the research carried out on local issues like preservation of biodiversity and traffic management.

Addressing the first convocation of Central University of Kashmir here, Vohra said: I have been suggesting the Vice-Chancellors that the importance of Universities directly relates to the extent of research carried out on local issues relating to climate change, preservation of water bodies, biodiversity and ecology, master planning of cities, traffic management and others."
