UP ATS takes couple in custody from Bhopal

The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Uttar Pradesh police Tuesday took a couple in their custody here, a local police official said.

Manish and his wife Amita alias Varsha, who hail from Jaunpur district, were taken into custody by a team of UP ATS, said inspector C S Raghuvanshi of Shahpura police station.

The ATS officials informed the local police about the action but did not reveal more details, he told PTI.

However, sources said the ATS seized some material including documents from the house in Shahpura area where the couple stayed.
