Radharaman Yadav was suspended a few days ago for allegedly sending a vulgar SMS to a woman. However, he was later reinstated and transferred to the Police Lines from Kishni Police Station where he was earlier posted, SP Rajesh S told PTI.
Yadav had been missing for the past two days. The police had formed teams to find him and yesterday they found his body hanging in the bathroom of his residence, the police official said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and a probe is underway, he added.
