A notice from IG Personnel, B P Jogdand has been received today to submit the details of all my immoveable and moveable properties as well as that of my dependents by July 19 2015, Amitabh Thakur told PTI.
The notice was delivered by hand this afternoon, Thakur said adding that details such as in whose name each of these properties is held, date of acquisition, mode of acquisition, address from whom acquired, price paid, source from which payment was made and mode of payment and intimation given to the Government have been sought.
Thakur, however, said he has already submitted a major part of this information to the Government under the Lokpal Act and shall try to give the information as soon as possible.
Welcoming the inquiry as they provide an opportunity to prove ones genuineness , he said that it shall be done whenever any doubt arises.
He, however, questioned the stiff opposition to CBI enquiry in Yadav Singh case by the state government but the promptness shown in his case which he said leave many questions unanswered.
Thakur, suspended on July 13 had yesterday submitted a 30 page reply to the 200-page charge sheet slapped on him charging him with dereliction of duty, arbitrariness and indiscipline, saying he was "not at fault".
Thakur has justified his actions, stressing that his social activities are as per the amended conduct of rules 2014 and fundamental rights under which one could help others in their fight for equality and justice.
Thakur, who is locked in a tussle with the state government over alleged threatening phone call by the SP supremo after which rape charges were also levelled against him, said he would soon go to court in connection with these two cases.
