"There were no rules and regulations for opening of Nursing homes in the state due to which stern action could not be taken in case of any wrong doing...
"We are framing regulations in this regard," Parliamentary Affairs minister Mohammad Azam Khan said while replying to a question in the Legislative Assembly.
Earlier, the members sought to know from the government about the initiatives taken to check female foeticide.
State Health minister Shakhlal Majhi said that action was taken against errant diagnostic sex determination centres but it was not satisfactory and the government would act tough in this regard in near future.
