UP: Life term for two brothers in murder case
Two brothers have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court in connection with a murder case of 2010.
Additional Districts Sessions judge Ombir Singh has held Afser, Bholi guilty of killing Naseem under section 302 of the IPC.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 each on the accused persons.
According to prosecution lawyer Yogesh Sharma, Naseem was stabbed to death by the two brothers for opposing them from sexually harrasing a woman at Kairana town of the neighbouring Shamli district on March 13, 2010.
