UP Speaker seeks cooperation of parties for Budget Session

Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey sought support of all political parties for the smooth conduct of budget session of the state legislature which began today.
In the all-party meeting held this morning, Pandey requested the leaders to help in ensuring proper behaviour of members in keeping with the dignity of the House and for smooth conduct of the proceedings, especially the question hour.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said his government is committed to a productive debate on all issues during the session.
"The issues raised by both the treasury and opposition benches ulitmately benefit the people and our party will fully cooperate in House proceedings," he said.

Swami Prasad Maurya (BSP), Suresh Khanna (BJP), Pradip Mathur of Congress, Dalbir Singh (RLD), and other leaders who were present in the meeting, also assured cooperation of their respective parties.
