Acting on a tip-off, the accused identified as Deepak Dubey and Vikas Soni were yesterday arrested from Badlapur area, a release issued by STF said.
Two country-made pistols and a number of cartridges were recovered from their possession, it said.
During interrogation the duo revealed that they had gone to Jaunpur to kill a teacher Shailesh Singh alias Rajju, police said.
