Urad dal price surges, rest see no change

Prices of urad dal moved up while those of other commodities ruled steady at the wholesale foodgrain market here during the week ended today.
Urad dal increased Rs 900 per quintal today to Rs 13,100 from last week's close of Rs 12,200.
Since Monday, Thoor Dal (Rs.14,200), Moong Dal (Rs 9,800), Gram Dal (Rs 6,400), Sugar (Rs 2,800), Wheat (Rs 3,000), Maida (90 kg) (Rs 2,500) and Sooji (90 kg) (Rs3,000) maintained the same rate of last week's closing rate and ended unchanged today.
