The move will reiterate Informatica's focus on India as a promising market, top company executives said.
India has been a successful R&D location for Informatica for more than a decade, with over half the engineering talent located in the country, Informatica CEO Anil Chakravarthy said at an event here.
"With this expansion, we are reaffirming our commitment towards India as a market and continuing our focus on investing in our people and infrastructure," he said.
Informatica has over 1,100 employees in India, which represent all functions within the company - research and development, customer support, professional services, sales, marketing, partner alliances, IT, procurement, human resources and finance, the company said in a statement here.
Digital India Foundation head Arvind Gupta said "Informatica's continued dedication to India and focus on building the most impactful Centre of Innovation focused on data in the country is a major milestone.
