Dimri is survived by his wife and two children.
Expressing grief at Dimri's death, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said he was an esteemed colleague who imparted great strength to the RSS in the state as a 'pracharak'.
"Mr Dimri was a senior member of my team. I am shocked at his untimely demise. My condolences are with his family in this hour of grief," the Chief Minister said.
A condolence meeting was held at the state BJP office here. Dimri had also served as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to former chief minister Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri.
