The proposal has been sent to state government for its sanction after which a detailed project report (DPR) will be prepared, said Vice Chairman of the Authority Vijay Yadav.
The Mohan Nagar metro station will be the biggest change- over junction from where commuters coming from Dilshad Garden, Anand Vihar, Noida and Ghaziabad can interchange the metro trains for their onward routes, Yadav added.
Yadav said another proposal to connect Noida Sector 62 metro to Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) campus has already been passed and work will start on the 1.5 kilometer stretch. Rs 250 crore has been allocated for the project.
