Vaishnodevi pilgrim dies of cardiac arrest

A 60-year-old woman died due to cardiac arrest when she was on her way to cave shrine of Vaishno Devi in Katra belt of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Geeta Devi, a resident of Bihar, collapsed near the Sanji Chhat due to a cardiac arrest late last evening, police said.
She was rushed to a nearby health centre where doctors declared her as brought dead, they said.
The body was handed over to her relatives after completing all the legal and medical formalities, they said.
This was third death in last one week due to cardiac arrest on the way to the shrine.
