Vani Kapoor look to continue winning ways in Srinagar

With four victories and two runners up finishes, Delhi golfer Vani Kapoor will be keen to continue her winning streak when she tees off at the seventh leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour 2014, to be played at the Royal Springs Golf Course here from June 24-26.
The young golfer has emerged as the player to beat this season and is currently leading the Hero Order of Merit. She is sitting comfortably at the top with total earnings of INR 6,49,000.
Vani, who edged past Smriti Mehra in leg six, is expected to face tough competition from the veteran golfer during the INR 7,00,000 event here.

Smriti is at second spot in the Hero Order of Merit list with total earnings of INR 3,75,000 from five appearances.
Smriti, who hasn't quite taken off this year, is struggling with just one win and one runners up position, and would be keen to defend the title she won here last year.
Saaniya Sharma and amateur golfer Tavleen Batra from Chandigarh, who look to be in great form, would definitely want to capitalise on their impressive performances in leg 6.

Hero MotoCorp sponsored Bengaluru golfer Sharmila Nicolett, who is currently playing on the Ladies European Tour, will be giving the seventh leg a miss as she gets ready for the Ladies Italian Open in Perugia, Italy from June 27-29.

Sharmila is the youngest Indian to get through to the prestigious Ladies European Tour and the only Indian to retain her European card for two consecutive years.
The seventh leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour will showcase a field of 14 golfers, which includes 12 professionals and two amateurs from across India.
The Royal Springs Golf course, considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in India, is a par 72 course and is spread over 300 acres of rolling hills, native deciduous forest, lakes, wilderness and surrounded by the Zabarwan hills and the Dal lake.
This tournament comprises a total of 15 legs, spanning across key locations in India.
