Built at a cost of nearly Rs 3.7 crore, the school building has been developed in an area of 2,198 sqm.
"It has rain water-harvesting facility and it also has a tank of 20,000 litre water capacity to fight any situation of fire," Chairman, Law and General Purposes Committee of NDMC, Neelam Dhiman said.
The two-storey structure has 12 class rooms, one computer room, two store rooms, two office rooms, one library and a sports and a science laboratory and a multi-purpose hall.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister of Science and Technology said, "to be a good citizen, students should not only have bookish knowledge but also have moral and civic education, for this teachers have to work hard.
