The "Dilwale" actor recently shot for the TV series "Ice Road Truckers, India's Deadliest Roads".
During the shoot, when he got the opportunity to travel from Manali to Saichen in a truck, he thought of turning his journey into a "travel diary."
"I am a huge fan of Mr Bean and always wanted to make a short film like he does in 'Mr Bean's Holiday'. So when I got this opportunity I thought why not use this to make my short film as well," Varun said in a statement.
On the film front, the 26-year-old actor will be next seen in "Raabta" starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. He will also be seen in the much-awaited sequel of the comedy film "Fukrey".
