Very light rainfall occurs at isolated places over eastern UP

Very light rainfall occurred at isolated places over eastern Uttar Pradesh, while the weather was dry over the western parts of the state.
According to the meteorological (MeT) department, the day temperatures were below normal in Allahabad, Faizabad, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Jhansi yesterday.
The night temperatures were below normal in Bareilly, Faizabad, Allahabad, Lucknow, Moradabad and Meerut.
The lowest minimum temperature in the state was 3.7 degrees Celsius, recorded at Muzaffarnagar.
The MeT department has forecast that weather is most likely to remain dry over the state on February 10, and rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at isolated places over the state on February 11.
