Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal members today staged a demonstration here demanding deportation of illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingiya infiltrators living in Jharkhand and other parts of the country.
Activists of the two organisations took out a procession here demanding that the government identify the infiltrators and deport them.
These infiltrators have been involved in various crimes, they claimed.
A delegation of the VHP separately met Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar and raised their demands.
VHP leaders also called on Senior Superintendent of Police Anoop Birtharay to lodge their opposition to a proposal to cremate dogs in the premises of Parvati Crematorium in Bistupur here saying it would hurt the Hindu sentiment.
