Vidarbha sizzles at 45 deg Celsius

Vidarbha is reeling under severe heat conditions with the mercury touching 45 degree Celsius at four places in the region today.
Chandrapur, which had earlier recorded temperature at 45 degree Celsius on April 17, today remained hottest at 45.6, followed by Bramhapuri 45.2 while Nagpur and Wardha each recorded 45 degree Celsius.
The mercury recorded a spike in most of the places in the region.
According to Regional Meteorology Centre, temperatures recorded at other places in the region are: Akola (43.6), Amravati (42.8), Gondia (43.3), Washim (40), Yavatmal (43.5).
