It had posted a loss of Rs 61.36 crore during the same quarter last fiscal, Videocon d2h said in a filing before the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company's revenue from operations during the quarter under review was up 20.34 per cent to Rs 690.078 crore as against Rs 573.40 crore of the same period last fiscal.
Commenting on the result, Videocon d2h Executive Chairman Saurabh Dhoot said: "During the quarter, we focused on enhancing our channel offering and added 14 Standard Definition and 4 High Definition channels."
In H1 period, company's revenue from operations also went up 21.78 per cent to Rs 1,352.86 crore as against Rs 1,110.89 crore.
"We have achieved EBITDA growth of 30.3 per cent in the first half of the current fiscal as against our guidance of 25-30 per cent growth. We are on track to deliver even stronger growth in the second half of this year, in line with the guidance shared earlier," Dhoot said.
