The company had posted a net profit of Rs 7.57 crore in the corresponding period of 2015-16.
Its total income from operations fell by 14.13 per cent to Rs 2,677.23 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 3,117.89 crore a year ago, Videocon Industries said in a BSE filing.
During the quarter, the company said its revenue from consumer electronics and home appliances vertical declined by 12.20 per cent to Rs 2,572.39 crore.
