The arrested JE, identified as P.Santosh Kumar Patra, was found to be in possession of properties worth Rs over Rs 1.10 crore, vigilance sources said.
After being arrested he was forwarded to the court, sources said.
The vigilance teams raided the houses of P.Santosh Kumar Patra at Bapuji Nagara here, rented house at Tikabali, his office chamber at Chakapada in Kandhamal district and paternal house at Aska simultaneously to unearth his ill-gotten money on Friday.
Patra had entered into government job in 1997 as a contractual employee. His job was regularized in August 20, 2015, SP (vigilance) said.
