Businesswoman Vihari Seth, who was caught with undeclared diamond and gold jewellery, today filed a bail application in the sessions court, a week after a local magistrate's court rejected a similar application.
Seth was arrested by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) last week after she was caught with undeclared diamond and gold jewellery worth Rs 2.45 crore in her undergarments.
She was crossing the green channel without declaring her valuables when the DRI caught her.
Last week, the magistrate court had rejected her bail, observing that the investigation is still on.
Her bail application will be heard tomorrow.
