Villagers protest against erratic water supply

Enraged residents of Baliar Kalan village of the district today blocked vehicular traffic on the Rewari-Delhi road in protest against erratic water supply.
Shouting slogans against the district administration, the protesters alleged that despite repeated assurances, their was no improvement in situation.
The blockade lasted for nearly four hours before the protesters were pacified by local officials, who assured that steps would be taken to speedily address their problems.
