Tamil action thriller Vishwaroopam 2 was today screened at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) here with its actors Kamal Hassan and Pooja Kumar joining the cadets.
The film crew had camped for a few days at the academy to receive military training for the movie, which hit theatres across the country two days ago.
"I have come here to thank the Indian Army and Defence Ministry for helping us with the movie even though it did not benefit them," Hassan told reporters here later.
Heaping praise on OTA, the actor-cum-politician said there were ample opportunities for youth here.
"It is a mistake to think the army is a risky job," the 63-year-old actor said.
Haasan has written, directed and produced Vishwaroopam 2, in which he also plays the lead role of a RAW agent.
The film, a sequel to the 2013 film Vishwaroopam has reportedly earned around Rs 9 crore on its opening day.
