Newcomer Vivaan Shah will not only be a narrator in Farah Khan's much talked about film 'Happy New Year' but will also play the role of a computer hacker.
Vivaan, son of Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, previously featured in Vishal Bhardwaj's '7 Khoon Maaf' (2011).
"He is the narrator of the story. He is a computer hacker, he is a technical expert. In the first part of the story, he is the narrator," Vivaan told PTI.
"I played a narrator in '7 Khoon Maaf'. Vishal sir helped me in getting the maturity in the voice-over. My first two films have voice over... It's fun," he added.
Vivaan shot some portions for the film and had a great time. He will resume shooting from November 11.
The young actor said he felt honoured to be working with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Deepika Padukone.
"We are having an amazing time doing the film," Vivaan said.
The film features Shah Rukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Padukone in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Vivaan will also be teaming up for a film with his father Naseeruddin.
"I am looking forward to work with him. Everything is getting finalised and it will take sometime," he said, without divulging any details about the project.
"I have learnt everything about acting from him. I loved him in 'Jalwa', 'Masoom'," he added.
