The company had posted a net profit of Rs 78 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, the air-conditioner maker said in a regulatory filing.
Consolidated sales for the quarter was higher by 6 per cent at Rs 1,032 crore compared to Rs 972 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
"Electro-mechanical projects and services segment revenue for the quarter was higher at Rs 557 crore as compared to Rs 543 crore in the same period last year," Voltas said.
Segment revenue was higher at Rs 408 crore as compared to Rs 354 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The stock closed 1.10 per cent up at Rs 555.20 on BSE.
