"The Jammu and Kashmir government should have filled up 1,443 posts from the waiting list of the Kashmiri Pandits (KP) formulated two years ago," Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj president R K Bhat told reporters.
Bhat claimed that KPs were anguished over the ignorance of the waiting list which had been prepared during Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's tenure.
On July 4, the state cabinet took the decision to call for fresh advertisement to fill up the posts.
He alleged that the Chief Minister and his cabinet of failing to live to their commitment made to the people.
Despite the repeated assurances by Omar and his team, Bhat said, the sudden move had come as a shock to the KPs.
