Walnut kernel edges up on scattered demand

In restricted activity, walnut kernel prices edged higher by Rs 5 per kg in an otherwise steady dry fruits market today on mild demand from retailers.
However, other dry fruits moved in a narrow range on little doing and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said scattered demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts, mainly attributed the rise in walnut kernel prices.
In the national capital Walnut kernel traded higher by Rs 5 to Rs 515-915 per kg.
