Movie legend Walt Disney's Chicago, Illinois home is to be turned into a museum.
Restoration work on the place where the filmmaker and his brother Roy were born will begin on December 5 and the property will be listed as a historical site when it is done, according to Hollywood Reporter.
The groundbreaking ceremony will coincide with what would have been Disney's 112th birthday and to mark the double celebration, Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel has declared December 5 as Walt Disney Day in the city.
Disney died 10 days after celebrating his 65th birthday in 1966.
