WB Governor expresses concern over Bodh Gaya blasts

West Bengal Governor MK Narayanan today expressed concern over the serial blasts in the holy town of Bodh Gaya in Bihar which left two monks injured.
"I am concerned that places of Buddhist worship are being attacked. Terror efforts are expanding and that's a matter of concern," Narayanan, the former National Security Adviser, said on the sidelines of a programme here.
Nine blasts today rocked the temple town of Bodh Gaya in Bihar in what the Union home ministry has described as a terror attack.
Asked to comment on the current controversy over the timing of panchayat elections in Bengal which are scheduled ti be held during the holy Islamic month of Ramzan, Narayanan said that "the Supreme court has already given its verdict. I have nothing more to say.
