WB Goveror urges people to reach out to those in distress

West Bengal governor Keshari Nath Tripathi today called upon the people to reach out to those in distress and thanked the Jains for their contribution to the social and economic life of the state.
The Governor who was speaking at a programme at Raj Bhavan to commemorate silver jubilee of Jain Samskriti Samsad, said that the organisation has kept itself engaged to strengthen the bond of social cohesiveness and harmony rising above all sorts of sectarian feelings.
Tripathi was felicitated at the programme, a press release issued by Raj Bhavan here said.
The Governor said that the honours conferred upon him would him constantly the ideals and precepts of Bhagavan Mahavir.
