Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the Indian government did not shut its eyes on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim but international relations at times created obstacles.
"On Dawood, I would only say we have not shut our eyes on him. But at times there are obstacles due to international relations," Singh told reporters here.
The government recently found itself embroiled in a controversy over its statement that it had no idea where Dawood Ibrahim was.
Later, the Union Home Minister said that the Mumbai blast mastermind was in Pakistan and that it would not "rest" till he was brought back to the country.
