Machetes, flick knives and cut-throat razors were among the staggering collection of 62 bladed weapons discovered in a car in north west London.
Officers swooped on the car yesterday and seized the weapons, which is thought to have been destined for use by criminal gangs.
Police also raided two homes in west and north west London and found 12 stun guns, batons, martial arts weapons and more knives.
Metropolitan Police officers also found stun guns disguised as key fobs, mobile phones and torches.
The large seizure follows comments made by Detective Chief Superintendent Dean Haydon, the Head of Trident Gang Crime Command which promised enhanced coordinated activity to tackle knife crime on London's streets.
"Tackling knife crime is a key priority for the Met. Every week, officers from across London carry out enforcement activity, and educational programmes aimed at prevention are regularly delivered to young people," Haydon had said.
"The people of London can expect to see lots of coordinated and intelligence-led police activity over the coming week. We will be carrying out a variety of operations including weapon sweeps and stop and search; as well as targeting known offenders," he said.
