Barring a few isolated places where light to moderate rains occurred, the weather was largely clear throughout Uttarakhand, the MeT department said.
Haldwani in Nainital district received the maximum rains of 35 mm followed by Munsyari in Pithoragarh district (18 mm), Kashipur in Udhamsingh Nagar district (14 mm) and Joshimath in Chamoli (13 mm), it said.
Similar weather conditions have been predicted for the next 24 hours with light to moderate rains likely at isolated places.
The Rishikesh-Gangotri NH also continues to be blocked by debris at Nalupani in Uttarkashi district, they said, adding efforts are under way to repair them.
Compensation of Rs 120 crore has been distributed to those affected by floods in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna said.
A meeting of District Magistrates of affected areas had been convened on August 29 to discuss identification of land to rehabilitate devastated villages, Bahuguna told reporters.
Uttarakhand government has received the final lists of people from various states, except Uttar Pradesh, who went missing in the mid-June calamity, and will soon sent compensation to their families, Bahuguna said.
