Weather remains dry, mercury drops in UP
According to the MeT office, the night temperatures fell markedly in Gorakhpur division and also registered a slide in the Varanasi, Kanpur, Allahabad divisions and changed little elsewhere.
Lowest minimum temperature in the state was 3.7 degree Celsius recorded at Agra.
Sources said that state would remain dry over the next 24 hours, amid a likelihood of fog in the morning.
