West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (Webel) is a state government undertaking.
"We are seeking a knowledge partner. We will provide infrastructure and the partner will manage the same," state IT secretary Debashis Sen said on the sidelines of a seminar organised by the Bharat Chamber of Commerce.
He said animation and mobile gaming is a growing sector and lack of affordable training institutes here was holding back our students to harness the opportunity.
So affordable training in this segment will be made available, Sen said.
Meanwhile, Sen said West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (Wbhidco) board has decided to earmark a portion in the financial hub at Rajarhat for fintech companies.
