More than 600 participants from public and private sector as well as civil society are expected to participate in the India forum that would be hosted along with industry body CII.
Mastercard President and CEO Ajay S Banga, Minister of State for Power, Coal and New and Renewable Energy Piyush Goyal, Dharma Productions Head Karan Johar and Bharti Enterprises Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal would be the co- chairs, according to the WEF.
"India's growth has been instrumental in ensuring that South Asia is the fastest-growing region in the world.
The forum would focus on five broader topics -- leaving no one behind; oiling India's growth engines: agriculture and manufacturing; fixing India's nuts and bolts: infrastructure and energy; leveraging technology and innovation for the fourth industrial revolution: entrepreneurship and digital; unleashing India's untapped potential: jobs and skills.
