At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for delivery in June fell by Rs 11, or 0.66 per cent, to Rs 1,668 per quintal, with an open interest of 13,770 lots.
Similarly, the wheat for delivery in far-month July weakened by Rs 8, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 1,700 per quintal in 12,090 lots.
Analysts attributed the fall in wheat futures to profit booking by participants.
