Sharing an anecdote at the time of the 73-year-old actor's accident on the sets of "Coolie" in 1982, Bachchan said that a fan brought a basket full of samosas for him to touch.
"After my 'Coolie' accident, when I returned home, a guy came with a basket full of samosas. He said, 'Please touch it. I want to distribute them as you have returned and you are doing fine'. I don't like this perception but it was his faith so I did it," Bachchan said.
In another such incident, a black marketeer would offer a rose to his family members while he was in hospital recuperating from the accident.
"When I reached home after recovering, he came to me and said, 'I am a black marketer and whatever I have earned from your films, I have used them to get my two sisters and a cousin married. I wanted to thank you so I give you a rose daily'.
