Will, 47, recounted the story during a visit to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to promote his DC antihero movie "Suicide Squad".
Knowing that the legal drinking age in the States is 21, a sneaky Jaden asked his family to celebrate his birthday in London.
"I was like, 'Wow,' like that's cool," Will said. "So we go and hang out for his birthday and I'm like, 'Man, that's really good. He wanted his family with him.' "
"Jaden was just particularly excited," he remembered. "And we sit down and he looked at the waiter and he says, 'I'll have a tequila.' "
"I said 'Woah, woah man. Hold up. What [are] you doing?" Will continued. "And he says, 'The drinking age is 18 in England, Dad.' I was like, 'You joker!' I was thinking fast. I said, 'Oh, but hold on, hold on. It's only noon in L.A.
