Rumours about the superstar's sexuality circulated for several years prior to Whitney's death in 2012, with gossips suggesting she was bisexual and involved in a very private relationship with Robyn, who was also her assistant.
"The I Will Always Love You" singer always denied the rumours, but Brown is now confirming they were true.
"I know. We were married for 14 years. There are some things we talked about that were personal to us," he said.
In 2013, the 82-year-old told Oprah Winfrey she would not have accepted her daughter being gay or bisexual.
"I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney's life, Whitney would still be alive today," Brown added.
